New App Lets Parents Discover & Book Tickets to the Latest in Kid Fun

This spring, Red Tricycle makes it even easier for parents to create awesome memories with their kids with the launch of an app that lets them discover and book tickets to local family experiences from their mobile device.

From March 14-May 30, 2015, Red Tricycle users get exclusive access to 12 Weeks of Awesome Family Adventures. Over a dozen amazing, must-try experiences in the Bay Area will be available to purchase in two clicks on the go. New adventures become available each week through May 30. Highlights include Mother’s Day Date Night at State Bird Provision, Family Night at the DeYoung Museum, and a Twilight Tour of SF Zoo.

“We’re focused on solving the last mile problem for parents planning their weekend – easy ticket purchases. With the 12 Weeks of Awesome campaign, we are inviting our users to not only join us on amazing family experiences around the Bay Area, but we’re also showing them how easy it is to find and book family adventures through the Red Tricycle app,” said Jacqui Boland, Red Tricycle’s founder.

For every transaction booked, Red Tricycle will donate $1 to KaBOOM!, a non-profit dedicated to bringing balanced and active play into the daily lives of all kids, especially those growing up in poverty in America. The Red Tricycle app is free to download and is available at iTunes Store.

Dreaming up incredible family adventures is easier and more intuitive with the Red Tricycle app, which connects users with the latest, must-do local activities and events. This includes museum exhibits, drop-in play times, festivals, outdoor fun, holiday happenings and other experiences that further a family’s journey of delight and discovery. The 12 Weeks of Awesome adventures includes:

– Date Night Drop-Off at Habitot Children’s Museum

– Bubble Bus at SOMA StrEat Food Park

– Bunny Hop at House of Air Trampoline Park

– Sleepover at Monterey Bay Aquarium

Parents will be able to book and purchase tickets to awesome family adventures through the Red Tricycle app, available on iTunes store. An Android version is coming soon, but in the interim, parents can book via the website.
