Nokia 7.1 gets a price cut in India – Gadgets Now

NEW DELHI: HMD Global owned Nokia has slashed the price of its Nokia 7.1 in India. The smartphone has received a permanent price cut of Rs 2,000. Its new pricing is Rs 17,999. To recall, Nokia 7.1 was launched in November last year. It was then priced at Rs 19,999. Major highlights of the device are 5.84-inch FHD+ ‘PureView’ screen, dual camera sensors at the back and a battery of 3060mAh.

Nokia 7.1 comes in just one variant in India – 4GB+64GB. After the price cut, the smartphone retails at Rs 17,999. It is already listed with the new price tag on company’s official e-store along with e-commerce platform Flipkart.

Nokia 7.1 is an Android One smartphone and falls under Google’s Android One initiative. The device, therefore runs Android 9 Pie out of the box.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 along with 4GB RAM. It offers a 5.84-inch FHD+ ‘PureView’ screen with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2280×1080 pixels resolution. The screen features a notch and comes protected with Gorilla Glass 3

Nokia 7.1 has 64GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card up to 400GB. As for the camera is concerned, the handset boasts of a 12megapixel autofocus sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with a 5-megapixel sensor at the back. Both are powered by ZEISS Optics. At the front, there is an 8MP sensor that has f/2 aperture and 85-degree field of view.

Nokia 7.1 houses a 3060mAh battery and supports fast charging technology. Colour options include Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel.
