State-owned mobile network operator NetOne lifted its number of active One Money subscribers by 27 percent in the third quarter of 2019 from 335,132 to 428,529, reports the Herald, citing data from the Postal Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz).
NetOne registered a 1.4 percent growth in its active mobile subscriber market share in Q3, which it attributes to its One Money platform. Active mobile subscriptions went up by 10.6 percent to 3.04 million from 2.75 million.
These accomplishments come at a time when the mobile network operator is striving to provide an enhanced quality service under the “Back to Basics approach” for subscribers, regardless of geographical divide across the country. This approach entails the provision of quality network, quality distribution, quality contact centre as well as a robust balance sheet in future.
