Ufone leads by launching prepaid data roaming offer in UAE and Saudi Arabia

KARACHI: Keeping up its commitment to make life easier for its valued customers, Ufone has launched the Prepaid Data Roaming Offer in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). By launching this offer in the UAE, Ufone has now become the only mobile network of Pakistan offering the prepaid data roaming services in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), started its operations in January 2001 under the brand name ‘Ufone’. As a result of PTCL’s privatization, Ufone became a part of the Emirates Telecommunication Corporation Group (Etisalat) in 2006.

Ensuring that the company caters to the needs of travelers by providing them an affordable and easy solution, this new offer by Ufone does not hold any subscription or daily/monthly recurring charges. The service has been designed after extensive market research and promises to offer great value through lucrative data benefits, enabling the subscribers to stay connected throughout their travel-time. The offer will allow customers to perform online activities like accessing emails, social media, and browsing websites in a secure manner, without having to worry about purchasing local SIMs, high data charges or security risks with free internet access at public outlets.

“The days of switching SIMs or searching for WIFI hotspots while travelling are over, simply dial *506#free of charge from the Ufone Prepaid SIM anywhere in the world to avail this offer. This offer is available while roaming on Etisalat UAE and Mobily Saudi Arabia networks only. The offer can be un-subscribed any time by dialing *508#. Alternatively, the service can also be availed by dialing the Ufone Customer Helpline 333 locally, Ufone Roaming Help Desk +92-333-5100038 internationally, Ufone Selfcare App or Ufone official Website,” said a handout released by the company.
