It’s an essential accessory for the selfie-lover, whilst South Korea deemed it dangerous enough to ban it. The selfie stick, whether you love it or hate it, has become a worldwide phenomenon.

So it didn’t take long for Motorola to have its own sly dig at the smartphone accessory in an April Fools’ video, then

The parody video takes place in two workshops; one narrator describes the selfie stick as “an extension of who you are,” whilst another carving a log into a selfie stick compares the process to “when the sun turns the rain into a rainbow.”

It shows that Motorola has a great sense of humour. Don’t just take our word for it, watch the video below…
