The Ukrainian government has modified the National Plan on the Use of Frequence Resources, reports BizLigaNet. The spectrum allocation has been modified, enabling the use of the 1,800 MHz band for LTE services.
The government expexts that a tender on LTE bands will be carried out at the end of the year. Revenues from the sale of the licenses are expected to total UAH 3.975 billion.
On 4 July, the government approved the minimum price for LTE licences in the 2,600 MHz band at UAH 2.3 billion.
