VoIP Innovations and Telinta, Inc. have announced that they have tied up to offer a novel messaging solution for Mobile VoIP service providers. Leveraging Telinta’s TeliGlobe ™ Mobile Softphone solution together with VoIP Innovations’ SMS services and Programmable Numbers (enhanced DIDs), VoIP service providers can offer on-net as well as off-net SMS messaging services anywhere across the globe.
While off-net SMS can be made available through VoIP Innovations for use with any cell phone or any other SMS-enabled device on any provider’s network, on-net messaging can be offered between TeliGlobe users through the SIMPLE protocol that is supported as a prevailing part of Telinta’s cloud-based softswitch offerings.
