Verizon starts 5G field tests

Ericsson announced it’s supplying 5G radio prototypes to Verizon for live field trials. In 5G field trials held in February, Ericsson’s radio prototypes hit more than 10 Gbps peak throughput while supporting beamforming and beam tracking features.
