NEW DELHI: Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio has rolled out a new ‘Buy one get one’ offer which will allow Jio Prime users to get additional data benefits on a recharge of Rs 149 and above, Financial Express reported. The users can get extra 1GB, 5GB and 10GB data on recharging before March 31.
The data offers will be available from April 1. Also, as part of a new offer, Jio users can avail 10 GB extra data on an early recharge.
Jio users on recharging for Rs 149 prepaid plan will get 2 GB extra data along with the existing benefits. On opting for Rs 303 plan, users will get 5 GB free data in addition to 28 GB of data.
On recharging for Rs 499 and above, users will get 10 GB of free data over existing benefits of the offers. The extra 10 GB which the customers will get each month translates into 120 GB of free extra 4G data for users.
Users will be able to complete multiple recharges before March 31 and the add-on packs will keep getting added in the consecutive months, the report said.
Reliance Jio might also be extending the deadline for enrolment to its Jio Prime Membership to April 30 due to a lukewarm response from its customers in India.
The report added that around 22-27 million users opted for the program so far.
