The three biggest Russian mobile operators MTS, Megafon and Beeline plan to stop charging for on-net roaming services across the country soon, reports Tdaily.ru. Beeline will drop the extra charges from 20 August, and Megafon plans to stop the charging from 1 September, the companies confirmed. MTS also plans to offer free incoming calls to customers using its services outside the home region soon. The move follows a long-running campaign initiated by the federal competition watchdog FAS.
