Huawei announced revenues of CNY 135.8 million for the first half of 2014, up 19 percent from a year earlier. The company recorded an operating margin of 18.3 percent. Huawei said the results were in line with its expectations and helped by growing investments in LTE worldwide. Carrier network revenue was also helped by increased sales of software and services. In addition, the company benefited from its push to expand in the enterprise market, and Huawei reported “quality and sustainable growth” in its handset business.
