On the face of it, The Galaxy M10 looks like a sub-15k rather than a sub-10K one- the combination of the waterdrop notch and thin bezels isn’t very common among sub-10K phones. The Redmi 6A, for example, lacks a notch, and has thicker bezels than the M10, which looks closer to its immediate senior, the Galaxy M20.

The M10 packs a 3400mAh battery; its closest competitor, the Redmi 6A, has a 3000mAh battery that lasts about 20 hours of average usage. Rear camera shots are impressive in daylight, as are selfies.  Where the camera lets you down, though, are low-light shots. There’s just too much noise, and the effect is heightened with the flash.

The M10 has plenty to offer those looking for a great-looking, well-performing phone on a budget.

Xiaomi’s most affordable 4G smartphone will cost you Rs 5999 for the base variant. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by MediaTek Helio A22 chipset coupled with 2GB/3GB RAM and an onboard storage of 16GB/32GB which can be expanded further up to 256GB via microSD card.

There’s a 13-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera. The device packs a 3,000 mAh battery which will easily last for an entire day.

The Redmi 6A is possibly the best 4G smartphone that you can get without burning a hole in your pocket. With a difference of only Rs 1000 between the two storage variants on Amazon, it’s a steal at any level.
