Scottish recycling firm Redeem acquired emc for £4 million in 2011, but it will now operate under parent company’s brand
Mobile recycler Redeem has rebranded its corporate arm emc Europe under its own branding, five years after buying the Staffordshire based company.
emc, also known as Environmental Mobile Control Limited, will now serve its 20,000 corporate clients under the Redeem name.
The Scottish recycler, which processes in excess of 200,000 phones per month, has also launched a new website to coincide with the rebrand.
Redeem’s partners include O2 and Three, while it also added new clients including Sanofi, UK Power Networks, Danone, Accor and Colgate over the last year.
Redeem chairman Trevor Bayley said: “We are a global leader in the re-commerce of mobile phones for both consumers and businesses. It is important to us that we continue to expand under a unified brand which is easily recognisable.
“With the newly redesigned website and rebrand now complete, we are well positioned to drive further growth in 2016 and beyond.”
