All three telecom companies — Airtel, Vodafone-Idea and Reliance Jio — have increased tariffs. While new prices for Airtel and Vodafone-Idea customers came into effect from December 3; for Reliance Jio customers, the revised rates have rolled out from today (December 6). There’s no change in tariff for post-paid customers.
Reliance Jio’s new plans start at Rs 129 and have a validity of 28 days and go all the way up to to Rs 2,199 (365 days validity). According to Jio, the new plans offer 300% more benefits than before. These include subscription to JioTV, JioCinema, JioSaavn, JioNews, JioSecurity, JioCloud and JioHealth. Although Jio has not revealed the exact plan that the new plans replace, we have compared Jio’s new plans with the nearest old plan.
