Ad2games wants to become a bigger player in game marketing — and it has much more money now to help make this happen.
The online games marketing platform creator announced today that it has finished a $9 million Series A financing round which included venture capital firms 2TS Capital Partners, HitFox Group, and its own management team. The funds enable Ad2games to accelerate its global expansion, increase its user acquisition and traffic monetization platforms, and make new hires.
Originally founded in 2007, The Berlin-based Ad2games has over 150 game publisher partners, including Tencent, Gameforge, and Goodgame Studios, which use Ad2games’ services to help identify strategic marketing strategies. It also has offices in San Francisco and Seoul.
“3TS is the perfect partner for a company like us, operating in the highly dynamic ad-tech market,” Ad2games chief executive office Albert Schwarzmeier noted in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “With this investment we will further grow our presence in the U.S. and our technology around behavioral user targeting. The $81.5 billion games market is expanding fast. Not only will this funding increase our marketshare in North America, it will also reinforce our position as a global market leader.”
